This weekend the final clue for PinkLemonTwists third Mystery Stole knitalong was released. I knit obssessively on Friday night/Saturday morning. (Sleep - pah - I don't need no steeenking sleep.) :smt015

Anyway - here are the completed pictures.

It is fair to say that the dramatic asymmetrical design divided the knitalong members - I like the final effect (but many don't - so you aren't alone if you are shaking your head and mutttering to yourself "is that a wing?"). (Having said that, I'd really really appreciate it if you didn't point that out to me just now. I've had lots of "I don't like the design" comments on another board and it was starting to harsh my finished object buzz!)

Agreed. I think when it's draped like that, that the "wing" makes a lot more sense. It's just a shawl that needs to be worn rather than hung somewhere for show. And that's a good thing. :D

They're beautiful, you've done a wonderful job.

I like the way the wing is blocked with points & the feather pattern on the wing is gorgeous!

That is what I've been thinking - it is good to see the shawl draped as it really makes sense of the design.
Well done, Soo, lovely work!

Well I think they are absolutely beautiful and you should be very proud of them, I personally love the asymmetrical design, it really shows off the pattern

I actually love the design! When worn, the sides will look and feel wonderful.
I could never achieve this lace pattern without making loads of mistakes.
Well done! :D

Soo they are STUNNING! I personally prefer the black over the white, looks more dramatic somehow! And the wing doesn't look at all out of place, I'll definately be adding a wing IF I ever get that far with mine lol
